Coach Peter Oviatt describing training plan for track workout

Head Coach Peter Oviatt develops the training plans for all workouts.  Peter has devoted his career to helping runners to develop an appreciation and knowledge for the sport.  He has been a coach/personal trainer for many years and has been a USA Track and Field (USATF) certified coach since 1994.

Peter has worked with many youth runners who have come to him as inexperienced athletes and have blossomed into runners who have qualified for – and excelled at – major regional and national competitions.  In addition, numerous youth runners coached by Peter have gone on to compete for varsity collegiate programs including Stanford, Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Wisconsin, Rice, Boise State, University of Washington, University of San Francisco, and Boston University.  In recent years, Peter has also served as a coach to two-time US Olympian, Donn Cabral.

  • Associate Coach: Justin Burgess

Associate Coach Justin Burgess supervises club workouts during the summer season.   Justin is a Level-1 USATF coach and has been coaching youth runners in cross country and track for over five years.  Justin is an accomplished distance runner who enjoys helping young athletes reach their potential.   In his spare time he competes in race events and trains on the trails of the Chuckanut Mountains.
